Finding the right workforce and retaining them is not handled at a strategic level by most employers despite the fact that this issue is the most acute problem in the field of HR, according to a recent study done by HR Evolution.
„Companies close to the boarder have to offer accommodations as part of the compensation package to blue-collar workers. The government and companies should treat this problem seriously.” – said Katalin Csikós-Nagy, manager of HR-Evolution Kft.
The participating employers indicated that on average they have 21 open positions, which will be filled in 2-3 months.
The purpose of the survey was to provide objective data on the characteristics of the shortage of available workforce in the region.
